A darling but much deconstructed craftsman cottage needed some love and self-possession in our phase one re-imagining. The creative producer client let us help her get to where she wanted; a drought-friendly yard, discreetly screened for socializing and quiet privacy. We demoed pretty much everything on site, re-working the house colors, porch, and railings, installing tiling, and beautiful new fencing to contain the property. Nothing too rude, just low-slung and neighborhood friendly. Simple baby plants: Olives, Pittosporum, Salvias, Coyote bush, lavenders, and huckleberry. Next stop, the backyard!
