The owners needed specific planting design to their unique house with extraordinary views. The idea was to leave the panorama of the reservoir and Santa Monica mountains as the garden backdrop and keep a restricted elegance to the ground planting. Mature yucca was underplanted with a strict repeat palette of agaves which were carried over into the under-canopy of mature ficus. Planters outside the large bedroom windows were created in-ground to continue the architectural themes of mono planting.
