Respectful of their inherited garden but aware that an all over upgrade was needed to bring house and garden into harmony, we began by stripping out cumbersome hardscape detail and painted the exterior house all over with a deep blue/slate. Existing lawns back and front were excavated and replaced with soft decomposed granite accented with careful planting. A cedar soaking tub was installed along with a scented pathway to comfortably transport the client from deck to tub and back again.
