A young family living in a deep shade canyon house wanted pool vibes, which needed to tackle very specific engineering for the location. We created a pool that contrasted the landscape while also re-imagining the hardscape patio and pathways. We overhauled outmoded  irrigation, replaced the lawn with a drought-hardy Agrostis, and installed arc-alignment appropriate, high efficiency rotary nozzles. 

As we hit our budget’s limit we finished the play areas with honest, decomposed granite to flank the pool;  up-cycling plants to give a little something back.
